“With Lynn Goldsmith behind the lens – and now, the walls –
The Rider becomes more than a place to live. It becomes a place to belong.”

The Rider Residencies, Art Advisory
Client: Rilea Group
Role: Curation and Licensee
Metazoan was commissioned to curate and license a distinctive collection of photography for The Rider Residences Miami.
The Rider is a bold, 12-story condominium rooted in the spirit of rock-and-roll and Wynwood’s avant-garde energy.
Tasked with creating a visual language that matched the property’s rebellious DNA, Metazoan selected images that honour the icons of music and motor culture, from the gritty soul of live performances to the allure of two-wheeled freedom. Anchored by rare works from Lynn Goldsmith and Scarlet Page, two of music’s most legendary photographers, the collection brings to life the ethos of The Rider: unapologetically free, creatively, fearless, and authentically cool.
The featured image of Keith Richards by Scarlet Page was not chosen by chance, it was selected for its raw energy, iconic presence, and cultural weight. His portrait commands attention, anchoring the space with an unmistakable edge that mirrors the sleek lines of the motorcycles and the moody tone of the surrounding design
Lynn Goldsmith being the official ambassador, handpicked eight of her most iconic photographs to adorn the building’s exterior.

“Metazoan delivered an expertly curated visual journey of Bowie’s life in photographs for our NPG ‘Stories’ project, working with remarkable efficiency and deep subject expertise from the early David Jones years through to Blackstar.”

Stories - Brought to Life, National Portrait Gallery Unframed
Client: Frameless
Role: Image Research & Rights Management
Metazoan was commissioned by Frameless to support the creation of a photographic narrative for Stories - Brought to Life, an immersive experience inspired by the National Portrait Gallery’s Collection. Part of the experience explored the life and artistry of David Bowie, from his early years as David Jones through to Blackstar, brought to life through 47 carefully selected photographs.
The lead image, Duffy’s iconic Aladdin Sane portrait, anchored the sequence, supported by a collection sourced from both our own archives and external contributors. Metazoan also managed rights clearances with the Bowie Estate, ensuring images were licensed for use across the experience.

“Working with Metazoan Archives has been an inspiring experience, their expert curation and access to rare, stunning imagery make them an exceptional partner for us”
